Well here we are, Max has actually outgrown most of his preemie clothing. It's crazy to think that I brought home a 4 lb, 10 oz baby and I now have a 7 lb, 7 oz baby. He has done so great at growing since we have been home. Max loves to eat and the growth has sure shown that. He also has grown from 17.5 inches at birth to 19.5 inches today! We are so proud of our little guy and so happy that he is so healthy. Today I cleaned out his preemie clothes from his closet and dresser. It was odd to do that. He has also now had his first tub bath and he loves it. He sleeps incredibly after a bath too which mommy and daddy love.
I am going to try to get caught up on his baby book and start his scrapbook soon. It's odd to be doing all of this in a time when I should have just had my baby. We were in awe at the due date thinking that we had a 7 week old child. Life is going far too fast for us but Max is doing great. We had to reschedule his last ROP eye appointment as our car had some troubles but his first one showed no signs of any ROP due to prematurity.
He has his 2 month check up on March 26th where he will get some shots. We have already been through this having a preemie so we are not too nervous but it sure is hard to imagine him being hurt or scared. We appreciate all of your prayers and please continue. This parenting this is hard stuff!!!
